Monson

Hi all. I've been in Monson MA for almost 2 weeks now and its been really good. I'm staying again with my dads uncle Brian and his wife Cathy now that my family have gone back home. I've been working with Brian, who is a carpenter, for most of the time and have been doing things with their son, my cousin, Jesse throughout as well. Last weekend we went to Six Flags theme park and rode the Superman, Batman, Minderaser, Cyclone and Pandemonium rollercoasters which were great. On the Sunday we went to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. And thats about it. Although i have gotten some of my favorite commercials together for you to enjoy!

Obviously for Vitamin water, a Gatorade kinda thing i guess. There are a few more including one for a company that finds you cheap flights/hotels/rental cars and stuff, Priceline. This next one for Etrade was originally for the Superbowl it seems but still gets played. And the last one is for Sonic, A drive through kindoff fast food/fancy drinks restaraunt. It is actually one of many good ones in the series but they proved impossible to find.
In other news the Golden State Warriors were unfortunatly knocked out of the playoffs last night.

Also unfortunatly, this guy is the MVP.

Central Park Zoo and Madam Tussauds

Well this was a while ago so i dont remember exactly what happened but ill do my best to figure it out from the phots as i go along. Me, my sister and mum went and had breakfast on Central Park and then walked through it to the zoo.

There was some cool sky writing going on over head and we went by the dry skating rink too. We went in the zoo and looked at all the animals including Seals, Mouse deer, Duck eating birds (not reallyyyyy!), Turtles - Tortoise'?, Bright frogs, MONKEYS!, Lizards!, a Horned Snake, more Monkeys!, even a baby, more turtles, Otters!, Penguins, the same bunch of Seals! and of course the best comes last, An, itchy Polar Bear!!!. And thats about it for the zoo. However heres some more of the park. By the way it's Enormous. After that My sister went back to the hotel, my mum to queens and I to Times square for Madam Tussauds.

There was a Pepsi promotion thing in the middle. Anyways I found my way to the museum and here are some photos. And one more. It was pretty freaky walking around the deserted place with eery voices and sounds playing real (enough) people staring at you from all over the place. When you did come across someone it would take you a moment to decide whether they were real or not and if they were then you hope they didn't see you staring at them. Anyways after i was done in there i started to walk the 40 blocks or so back to our hotel via the NBA store to pick up my Allen

Iverson Jersey. On the way i went by the Empire State Building and this.

New York - Day 3

Today is quite pictureless and was kinda uneventful. We went to the bank and now i have an account. We also went to the NBA store which was fun, and to a few other shops here and there. We also saw a documentary about a home for orphans in south africa. The kids kind of formed a choir and recorded a cd. Anyways it was their little story which premiered a few days ago with Alicia Keys and Bono apparently there supporting the film. Apart from that we didnt get up to too much today. Sooooo goodnight!

NYC - Tuesday the 1st

Today we went out a walked through a few neighbourhoods and past some cool places to the social security office to find out what my number was.

We then made our way past a few schools and parks onto the subway and to the finacial district and ground zero. My mum and sister were in a clothing store for a while so i went for a walk and checked out some of the churches and stuff in the surrounding financial district.

We caught the subway back up to Times Square where we visited the Hersheys and M&M's stores. There was a LOT of M&M's. Back out in the Square there are the recogniseable scrolly things all over, as well as some interesting characters (He IS wearing underwear. Just thought you might like to know). There was even a set of billboards targeted (!) directly at Alison. Anyways i went into the Virgin store there to buy a cd and there was a rapper named Ne Yo doing a signing so it was pretty busy. That evening we went and saw a musical on broadway named Rent, which was pretty good, and then headed home in the rain.

Heres me and my pretzel. And then it was bed time.

NYC Day 1

Well we arrived in New York by train and came in though the Bronx and in to Penn station in central Manhatten. We were met there by some distant relatives who were very kinda and took us around for the afternoon. We took the subway down to the ferry terminal at the southern point of the island.

And caught the ferry through the harbour, past the Statue all the way to Staten island where we could see back to the city and Brooklyn Bridge. We soon caught it back again and there was some real nice music at the terminal.

From there we made our way over to Queens via the subway and then were driven around the city at night (Stopping for some nice chinese) and back to our hotel.

Massachusettes

We stayed in Monson MA for a couple of days and saw various family.

We had an extremely large pizza, went up into the mountains/highlands for a family get together. I also went bowling with my cousin Jesse (who had a broken arm) and witnessed his karaoke performance. Soon after we caught the train to NYC.

Target and Charlotte

Today we went to Target in the morning and i bought a phone for $20! It is quite a massive place and yeah. We then rented a car and drove for about 3 hours to Charlotte where my cousin lives. We went out to a baseball game where i caught a foul ball AND got free oreos!

We stayed the night with James and then flew to Hartford Massachusettes the next day and got picked up by my dads uncle and his cousin. And tenses are perfect. Always. :)
